    Easter Closures

GP surgeries will be closed during the Easter weekend, including Good Friday and Easter Monday on 19th and 22nd April. However you will still be able to access primary care health professionals via the pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments.

These are provided at Blackpool Health Centre on Whitegate Drive, Fleetwood Health Centre on Dock Street in Fleetwood, Freckleton Health Centre and Garstang Medical practice and can be booked by calling your own GP practice or calling 01253 952950.

Many minor illnesses, ailments and injuries can be treated at home. Coughs, colds, sore throats, upset stomachs and aches and pains can be treated with a well-stocked medicine cabinet and plenty of rest.

If you are unsure on how to treat an illness or injury your local pharmacy can also provide free confidential expert advice and treatment for a variety of common complaints.

Many pharmacies will be operating under reduced opening hours over the Easter weekend. A full list of opening times for Fylde coast pharmacies can be found at www.whyande.nhs.uk/easter
