We have received a large number of comments and concerns regarding COVID-19 vaccinations for people living in North Blackpool and Bispham.
Local vaccination services are being set up across the country and the Fylde Coast. These services vary in different areas, but include GP practices, local authority sourced buildings or other local facilities, as well as roving teams who have started delivering the vaccine in care homes.
We can confirm that people living in North Blackpool and Bispham have already started to receive COVID-19 vaccinations with hundreds being vaccinated at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. A clinic was also run at Wyre Civic Centre in Poulton-le-Fylde at the weekend and another is planned for this coming weekend.
The two GP practices in Bispham have worked together with a community pharmacy to develop a vaccinations service in the town which will be launched next week.
We understand people are both keen and anxious to get vaccinated as soon as possible, but please let us reassure you it won’t be long at all before people in the top priority groups are contacted by the NHS to book their appointment to receive their vaccination in Bispham.Leave a reply →
